Florida Theatre Jacksonville Customers Reviews
Great concert mediocre venue
It was really heartwarming to see Christopher Cross back on stage. He performed all of his hits off the first album and more. He had a great accompanying group that complimented him. His voice range wasn't what it used to be, but got better as the night went on. Great rapport with the audience and a really feel good night. Unfortunately it was somewhat ruined by two obnoxious table mates, who talked throughout the concert, including the big rowdy guy who talked loudly on his cell phone during the next to last number and then swore threatening f bombs at us when we asked him to step outside for the call.. Also, people were supposed to wear masks, but they quickly came off for about half the audience, who seemed. compelled to talk throughout the show. Ironically, Chris almost died from Covid, but some of the fans didn't observe basic protocols. The venue's sound system is also mediocre, although video screens helped you see the performers.
